Scoil Mhuire Community School are deeply saddened to hear of the death of our Transition Year student Kedagh Moore. We extend our sincere sympathy to Kedagh’s family, his parents Glenda and John, sister Sadhbh, his extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Kedagh, by his energetic presence made a great contribution to the spirit of our school. He had a great passion for soccer and represented the school with distinction as a member of the under 17 soccer panel. He was a fun loving, easy-going, wonderful student who was a great friend to all. He will be sorely missed by our school community.

The school Critical Incident Plan is currently in operation to ensure that staff and students affected by his loss are cared for and supported. Counselling and support are available for students, teachers and parents affected by Kedagh’s death.
