TY's Visit Belfast

The TYs have travelled to Belfast where they visited the Titanic Exhibition, did llama trekking, bubble football, zipping around on segways, archery as well as jumping off 30ft platforms in the forest. They finished the evening with some Glow Bowling, as well as a late night supermarket sweep for snacks! On to day number two....

On Day Two of the trip the students and teachers spent the day travelling around Antrim on the Game of Thrones tour, visiting filming locations of the infamous TV programme as well as the Giants Causeway. That evening they also visited Crumlin Gaol at night where they did a Paranormal ghost tour.

For the final day of the TY trip the students did a walking tour of Belfast where they learned about the Troubles. Walking through the peace wall from the Falls to the Shankhill road they heard about the history and visited some of the many murals. It was an eye opening and truly engaging experience for everyone.

This was followed by a bit of retail therapy and the final bus journey home.

The students were a credit to themselves, the school and their families and we hope that they made memories that will last far beyond their days in Scoil Mhuire.
