Scoil Mhuire Receives First Amber Flag

Some fantastic news for our school community; Thanks to the continuous work of the Amber Flag Committee throughout the year, online near the end, Scoil Mhuire has received its very first Amber Flag, awarded by Pieta House. The committee comprised of both students and teachers from various subcommittees working in collaboration to promote mental health awareness and wellbeing across our school. Certificates will be presented in September when there will be an opportunity for new members to become involved in this aspect of our school.

The students: Jordan Davies, Athena Fusciardi, Anna Cunningham, Ciara Bartley, Daniel, O’Gorman, Daniel Murray, Ellie Fitzpatrick, Lucy Bergin, Jack Rowland, Sheenagh Rowland, Mark Mulqueen, Hannah Kiernan, Aimee Gannon, Laura Casey,Eva Kavanagh, Anna Doyle, Emily O’Brien & Martha Perris.

The teachers: Ms Stanley, Ms McMahon, Mr Dermody, Ms Travers, Ms Healy, Ms Mulreidy, Ms Mulvihill, Ms Kearns, Ms Doherty & Ms Scully.

We will fly the Amber Flag with pride in September.
