Congratulations to Sophie Byrne who won the regional final of the Soroptomist Public Speaking Competition in January. Sophie previously won the local heat at Clongowes Wood College back in November with her speech on the topic of "The Planet and the Environment." She will now go on to represent Scoil Mhuire in the National Final on 19 February which is to be held at the D Hotel in Drogheda.
