1. Each student must be dressed neatly in full uniform each day including school outings and during State Examinations.

2. Ties must be visible.

3. Shirt must be tucked into trousers or skirt and sleeves buttoned.

4. Jumper may be removed in warm weather but not worn around the waist.

5. Shoes should be polished and laces must be tied at all times.

6. Boys must be clean-shaven.

7. Writing or drawing on and colouring of hands is forbidden.

8. Uniform trousers are tailored trousers (Q & M Casuals). No flares or cut seams permitted.

9. Nail varnish is not permitted.

10. Excessive make-up is not permitted.

11. School Jacket is Navy with school crest. (Available at Q & M Casuals).

12. Runners must not be worn in school grounds unless accompanied by a medical cert stating duration of time required. This applies to evening study. Leggings may not be worn.

13. Jumper sleeves must not be cut or frayed and must not cover fingers.

14. The wearing of badges is forbidden with the exception of Prefect Badges and badges sold by charitable organisations e.g. Hospice, Conquer Cancer etc. or on designated days and with school permission.

15. Excessive jewellery must not be worn. (See attached guidelines).

16. Hair Colouring- natural hair colouring will only be acceptable.


Rings: Maximum of two normal sized rings e.g. rings covering complete finger area are not allowed.

Ear-rings: One pair of studs or one pair of sleepers / small rings to be worn on the

ear lobe and one on each ear.

Neck-Laces: Chokers are not permitted. All chains etc. to be worn inside shirts and

are not to be visible.

Facial Piercing: All nose studs, eyebrow rings etc. must not be worn while in school uniform.

Bracelets: One bracelet may be worn.

Keychains: Key-chains must not be visible and long key-chains are not permitted.
